Dr. Grant Brown

D.D.S

Dr. Grant Brown started practicing dentistry as an associate in Oakville, Ontario in September 1990. Through hard work and dedicaton, Dr. Brown became a partner at Hopedale Dental Care in January 1992. After acquiring the practice of Dr. Federchuk in 2013, Dr. Brown became owner of South Oakville Dental Care in January 2014.

As the owner of South Oakville Dental Care he maintains a family practice dedicated to improving the overall health and quality of life of his patients. His practice offers a variety of cosmetic procedures to permanently enhance and brighten your smile. Through hard work, continuing education, and technique advancement, Dr. Brown continually strives to improve the availability and quality of care for his patients.

 Aside from his dedication to his patients he finds time to play golf, exercise, and spend valuable time with his girlfriend Shayne and his children. 

Dr. Kara Gollan, DDS

 Dr. Gollan graduated from pre-Med at McGill University and completed her doctor of dental surgery at the University of Western Ontario in 2003. 

During her course of studies, she received special recognition for her excellence in pathology. The following year, Dr. Gollan was accepted and completed an exclusive residency at the Hospital for Sick Children and Bloorview MacMillan Centre.
 
Since graduating, Dr. Gollan continually participates in ongoing courses supporting the latest advances in dentistry. She is very enthusiastic about her work and always strives to provide her patients with comprehensive care and optimal results.
 
Dr. Gollan is encouraged by her two young children and loving husband.  When not practicing dentistry, she is an avid runner, downhill skier and carpooler.  She enjoys balancing work and family and feels her patience is a true reflection of this relationship.

Dr. Fayaaz Jaffer

Periodontist

I completed my dental training at the Faculty of Dentistry, University of Toronto.  Upon completing my dental training, I went on to complete a general dentistry residency program at Mount Sinai Hospital.  I received a specialty masters degree in the field of  Periodontology at the University of Toronto.  In addition to working in private practice,  I am also a part time clinical instructor  for the undergraduate dentistry program and an instructor in the Graduate Periodontics Department at the University of Toronto.  I am also part of the committee working to publish a new update of recent periodontal literature for the American Academy Of Periodontology.  

In my free time, I enjoy spending time with my wife and two boys, travelling, and am ready to pick up and play hockey or basketball on any given day.

Sara

Office Manager

Hi my name is Sara and I have been Dr. Brown’s Office manager for over 20 years. I have worked in Dentistry for 20 years and I have also enjoyed Dental Assisting previously. I enjoy taking care of our wonderful patients and making people happy.

In my free time, I enjoy the simple pleasures life has to offer such as cooking, spending time in nature and travelling to Cuba. 

Angela

Treatment Coordinator

i my name is Angela and I am the Treatment Coordinator for Dr. Brown. I have worked in the dental field for more than 18 years and love that each day brings a new challenge. Working with patients everyday is like being a part of an extended family.

Outside the office, I enjoy the outdoors, skiing, boating and enjoying life with my husband of 20 years and our two wonderful children.

Dental Assistant

Hi my name is Patty and I am a dental assistant working alongside Dr. Brown and Dr. Jaffer. With 20 years of chairside assisting experience, I have worked in a variety of dental office settings where I have gained some valuable experiences. I love my job but most of all, I enjoy interacting with patients and making sure all their needs are met.

Hygienist

i my name is Beta and I have been a dental hygienist since graduating with honours from the Ontario Dental Education Institute in 2009. I love meeting and caring for all our patients, and working with a wonderful team at South Oakville Dental Care. 
 

In my spare time I love to travel, spend time with family and friends, and also swimming.

Rizza

Dental Assistant

Hi my name is Rizza and I have been working alongside Dr. Brown as his chairside assistant for over 20 years. I graduated in 1998 as a Certified Level I Assistant and the following year, completed my certification in Level II Dental Assisting.

Since then, I have been a part of the South Oakville Dental team and am passionate about what I do, as it allows me the opportunity to work with the wonderful patients we have. The most rewarding aspect of my job as a dental assistant is to see a patient’s confidence improve just from enhancing their smile!

Outside the office, I enjoy being in the company of family and friends, great food and spending valuable time with my loving husband and son.
